The Parrotlet
The parrotlet is native from Mexico as well as Central and South America, and they have a lifespan of around 25 years.
They aren't very noisy and they are curious, playful and affectionate lil birds.
They are very smart and in the wild, some even name their offsprings!
Male parrotlets can be distinguished from females by some bright blue markings on their backs.
